Algar Telecom launches cloud purchasing and management platform with IBM solution

São Paulo, October 6, 2019 – Algar Telecom, a company of the Algar group that operates in the telecommunications and IT sector, launches its Multicloud Platform , which brings greater flexibility, simplicity and agility to small, medium and large companies. Based on IBM’s hybrid cloud solutions for multicloud orchestration and management, the solution allows the purchase and management of different public clouds through a single management panel and with just one invoice in reais, avoiding variable costs due to exchange rates.

In addition to the simplified, real-time management panel for cloud servers , customers now have flexibility based on usage – with the ability to expand or reduce their resources at any time. Other relevant benefits include the ease of having to deal with just one supplier and the option of hiring technical consultancy at every stage, from planning to operation.

According to IDC Brazil, approximately 60% of organizations estimate cpa email marketing list that by 2020 they will be using two or more cloud providers. Today, in many situations, cloud usage is independent and unorchestrated. Another advantage of working with end-to-end solutions is that we can obtain better market values, thanks to the concentration of services", he emphasizes.

Since Algar Telecom's innovation strategy is based on the concept of Open Innovation, the company always seeks strategic partnerships for the development of solutions, sharing with IBM the vision of innovation coming from open and secure platforms, which allow customers to implement projects aimed at their digital transformation.

Initially, Cloud Plus (Algar Telecom) and AWS (Amazon) will be made available, with Azure (Microsoft) expected to be included in December and expansion to clouds from other providers.
