English proficiency

Foreign language is one of the most basic skills for foreign trade work. Why are mainland foreign trade salesmen often inferior to those in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the foreign trade field? Language is an important factor.
In the early stages of foreign trade, the language requirements are not very high. Generally, CET-4 and CET-6 are enough to cope with daily foreign trade work. However, in the intermediate and advanced stages of foreign trade, the advantages of language will gradually emerge. Especially when dealing with major customers and large orders, fluent oral English and skilled reception skills will show confidence and professionalism to customers.
This is a great help in closing orders. If you can’t communicate smoothly, how can customers trust you to place large orders? In short, when working in foreign trade, it is never too good to speak good English. There is always room for improvement.
