Nevertheless, both confess that the originality of their idea managed to connect with many people who volunteered to help them in their curious adventure. The leftover food (which there was inevitably) was donated by the illustrators to the homeless in the city of New Orleans.
In total, Katrin and Janine spent 500 euros on the film's production , which was less than they had initially expected. Their efforts have, however, been amply rewarded. Their clever video has more than 900,000 views on YouTube and has been picked up by numerous media outlets, including Gambit , a New Orleans-based advertising company.
